to our cycling family in manotick ontario, i recommend taking this route the next time yous guys come up to montreal, and that's this coming weekend. please remember to bring your bikes (as if you needed to be reminded). :)

this, friends, is a MEXX shopping bag that i picked up along the way, sa tabi-tabi lang, when the drizzle started. i wrapped up the digital camera, palm pilot, wallet inside the bag to keep them from getting soaked. eventually the rain stopped, the sun came out and stayed with us the remainder of the ride.

Time flies when you're having fun

"Time flies when you're having fun", and so a line from a Gloria Estefan song goes. Dad will be turning 78 this August 4 while Mom, she stays the same :-) Yes, that's Wena licking her popsicle, that's Rosie Patosie wearing her Lee T-shirt, there's Ging-Ging between Dad and Tita Nil, and finally, there's Pauly Boy, our baby boy then (he turned 27 yrs old this year). Lord, please continue to bless us and keep us under your loving and protective arms. Amen.

Sunday at La Ronde

We capped our one week vacation to Killington, Vermont by spending Sunday afternoon at Six Flags' La Ronde in Montreal.

We had so much fun. Here are some of the photos we took yesterday afternoon.

We stayed at La Ronde until closing time, 10:30 PM. We were hungry by then, haven't had dinner yet, so we decided to stop by Chinatown for a late dinner rendezvous at Chinatown's VIP Restaurant.

East Mountain Road Update

just got back following tim and marv climbing on east mountain rd

marv had to abandon for a short while, having cramps, rejoined tim shortly after, on the way back, mostly descents, very fast though, clocking as fast as 67+kph, no pedaling, headwind too

tim finished the climb, with a few stops, just for brief rests - bravo!!
