As you exit the parking complex of the Place Ville Marie building (downtown Montreal) you are greeted by this awesome sight. You see this festive, brightly lit street, McGill College St, all dressed up for the Christmas season. At the farther end of this street (towards the left of the picture) is the entrance to McGill University.
To the right side of the photo you will see the Boccacino's restaurant, one of our favorites. There's also the Van Houtte coffee shop beside it.
In between where I stood to take the photo and the entrance to McGill University is St.Catherine St. where you will find boutiques and fine stores.
BTW, this was around 1:00AM, hardly any traffic downtown (maybe because they are still inside partying:)
