St. Lawrence River, viewed from the the Lasalle Blvd bike path. On the left of the picture you can see some of the tall condominiums on Nun's Island (Ile Des Soeurs). To the right, on the St. Lawrence, is the Lachine Rapids. We seldom take this route- what a welcomed change. Yes, this late Saturday afternoon or early evening ride, we decided to change our route. We started from Pilo's place in Lasalle rather than the usual 55th Ave start (which we did early this day- this is our second ride for the day).
