Met up with Uncle Pilo this past Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, even with the presence of strong winds, which, not even once, to the best of my recollection, was behind us.
Rode from Pierrefonds to Lachine to link up with Uncle Pilo. The route I took was Sources Blvd. South to the Lakeshore Blvd. in Pointe Claire, then southeast towards Lachine along Lakeshore Blvd., passing through the municipality of Dorval along the way.
We rode along the Lachine Canal Bike Path heading towards the direction of Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, past the Habitat and Casino Montreal. Lots of people in the vicinity of Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, with the Hispanic Community's celebration in the island.
After cycling around the circuit, at least a couple of times, if not more, we decided to look around and explore the other pathways within the island the racing circuit occupies. We considered that our rest period.
We then headed to the Old Port to check out the port. A cruise ship was docked so were a couple of military naval ships.
Overall it was another fun ride on a beautiful Montreal afternoon. PTL!!
