Stuck On You

Lauren Joy, our granddaughter, celebrated her 3rd birthday this past weekend. She turned three this September 22,2011 - Thank You Lord (TYL)

Among her guests ;-) - Diego, Tico, Boots, Dora, Swiper

There were also the mother and daughter team of Ging-Ging and Nonz stuck on each other.

Stuck on the wall was Super Lauren's poster, it says "Super Lauren to the rescue!" Tita Pam put this poster together for Super Lauren Joy.

There's Tita Pam stuck to Super Lauren - face to face.

Stuck on the other hallway wall is another poster of our birthday celebrant - Super Lauren.

Grandma (Lola) Nil happily poses beside Lauren's birthday poster.

Stuck to the fence in the backyard were balloons and letters that read "Oh Na Na I Am 3" (Rihanna inspired)

We are lovingly stuck to each other - Oh Na Na Stick With Me ;-)

Macro-zooming frame of mind

Rain just stopped, the plants happy with the soaking they have received from above, what an opportunity to take these close up shots with my Fuji Fine Pix HD10 camera - telephoto + macro-zoom mode.

leaves sipping water to quench their thirst

the beads of rain hanging on to the flower petal as long as it could

another bud about to bloom to show off its beautiful red color

just like having multiple arms stretched out to heaven, praising the Creator for its beauty

the little bud that's about to bloom says to the full blown flower beside it - I will be like you someday

love the contrast, depth of field

more of these in Tita Nil's flower garden

this just reminds me of the celery leaves

just hanging in there for a little bit more

Thank You Lord

This is how we celebrated after the Fredmir Tennis Open

Mom and Dad were waiting for us at their place, with food ready to feed the hungry and tired tennis players.

Lenny takes her place at the table

Uncle Pilo brought his new and improved "Spring Roll" - it makes you spring back to life! :-)

Thinking we were hungry and had a healthy appetite after a few hours of tennis, Mom and Dad ordered Chinese food to add to the what was on hand already - such gracious hosts they are.

Here we pose before the attack on the dinner table

Mom and Uncle Pilo joins the hungry and tired tennis players

Dad meanwhile entertains himself with one of his millions of DVD collection ;-)

This must have been the salt and pepper squid

let's dig in and partake of the blessings

not convinced we have had enough, Mom gets busy preparing the banana fritters - woot!!

we can only say, more! more! more!

not embarrassed at all, in front of the camera, Uncle Marv goes for more! more! more! ;-)

finally Lenny says to herself, what have I done, I am supposed to be on a diet!!

but, without a second thought, she digs in some more ;-)))

Tita Nil, our umpire and ball person also joins the celebration

the happy host, Dad, waves us all - go away! go home now!! ;-)

The End
