Met Pilo at the usual 55th ave bike stop. Rode to Ile Notre Dame along the
Lachine Canal bike path, took a couple of spins around the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
The bike path this afternoon / evening was quiet- more bugs than people
actually :) The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve was busy with roller bladers or inline skaters, joggers, and cyclists (on road bikes as well as mountain bikes)
At one time along the grand prix track a train of speeding road bikers
shewwwwwwed us to the side of the track. We did not bother respond, nor did we jump up from our saddle and chase them down. No, no, no. We kept our cool even though we, or at least I was, sweating bullets. Well, we still had quite a bit to ride to get back to 55th (for me).
Wednesday's weather forecast looks promising.
Kilometer-wise, I logged 49kms. Yahoooo!!
