Scenes from the Old Port of Montreal- Old Montreal, Quebec Canada

When I go for a bike ride I like having my digital camera with me to capture sights like this one. That's the big tent of Cirque D'Soleil at the Old Port of Montreal. The pleasure craft to the right is the "Princess Tina". The boat on the left is a restaurant / cruise boat that takes passengers for a cruise along the St. Lawrence river while enjoying a meal.

Here's a wide angle view. Hopefully, Lord willing, sometime this season, we get a chance to go for a dinner cruise with our cycling
buddies.

Train in the Old Port of Montreal - Old Montreal

I was pleasantly surprised to see this freight train chugging along those tracks. I thought they were no longer operational.

The Dome of the Old Bounsecour Market towers in the background. Meanwhile other tourists snap at this photo opportunity.

Flags at the Old Port

Took this picture as a reference point as to how calm the winds were this afternoon. A few days ago they were flapping around like crazy.

The Calese

Popular with tourists and locals alike, a great way to take a tour or a leisurely ride around Old Montreal.
