Friday afternoon bike ride to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve

Beautiful day for a bike ride, well, almost anyway, it was very windy once again on our way downtown towards the famed Grand Prix circuit- Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Just getting started, washroom stop on the Lachine canal bike path, just across the Dairy Queen Ice Cream stop

We managed to make one complete spin around the circuit inspite of having ridden through strong head winds from Lachine, through the Lasalle bike path, and finally to our goal, the circuit (right beside the also famous Casino Montreal).

Watching fellow cyclists zoom zoom zoom by.

Collage of photos taken with Pilo's camera

Tito Pilo and I both brought our digital cameras but both were very low in battery power :(, therefore just a few photos were taken.

The sunset scenes with the Montreal skyline as the backdrop was beautiful. There will be another time, Lord willing.

The ride back was more pleasant for our leg muscles, what with a good tail wind urging as on homeward.

Have a good, fun, and safe ride!

Update - Additional photos from Tito Lits' digital camera
