Uncle Pilo is back on the saddle. We rode to Old Montreal, our weekday favorite destination, the usual 36 something km ride.
What's nice about the Lachine canal route are the sights and sounds along the way, always something new to experience. You'll never feel alone, even when riding solo. There are always bikers / cyclists along the way (also roller bladers), different sizes and shapes :-)
Early evening, which is the 7pm - 7:30pm start, is proving to be a good time to start our weekday rides, particularly during the hot summer days. Another hot and sunny day today, high temperature hitting the low 30s.
