Tour De France 2005

Thanks to OLN, we're able to follow the Tour De France, live on TV.

Finally subscribed to OLN through our local cable service, Videotron, which also meant we had to subscribe to their digital cable service.

The move was actually better, money-wise; it's costing us less. All the other cable outlets at home which carried an extra surcharge is now free. Additional digital cable modems / receivers can be added for digital channels to be available for viewing in the other rooms.

At the moment I'm watching Stage 6, Troyes to Nancy (France).

So far, they say, this is the quickest, fastest Tour De France- average speed at the moment is around 50km/hr.

Go Lance Go :-)

Trish and I went for a bike ride to Old Montreal, the usual route, from 55th avenue in Lachine, through the Lachine Canal bike path, and back, slightly over 36kms, average speed, we observed, is much faster than a year or two ago.

Uncle Pilo wasn't feeling well, very rare will he refuse to ride, specially on a beautiful day like yesterday afternoon. Hope you're feeling better Pilo.
