Our Thanksgiving Weekend

Canada celebrates Thanksgiving a month ahead of the United States.

We had a very good weekend, thank God.

I will be posting some of the photos from this weekend's activities
with the Espinosa Crew shortly.

Today started with an early morning ride, leisure (ok, our fast ride)
ride. We rode to Ile Bizard, QC (not far from our place) and went
around the island of Ile Bizard. It was a cold morning, some winds,
temperature at 9C + windchill, but we were all suited up with a few
layers of moisture wicking jerseys topped by a wind breaking cycling
jacket.

It didn't take long for us to warm up under the layers of clothing we had on.

It was a short ride, logged 35kms, which we completed in less than an
hour of riding. Pilo rode all the way from their home in Lasalle;
that's an additional 40kms both ways. Good for you Uncle Pils. Uncle
Pils dropped 20 pounds and he is pleased with that, right?! Let's
celebrate; how about some Kare-Kare Uncle Pils, Lechon maybe??

Breakfast was ready when we got back home, thanks to Tita Nil. I
needed to be back home by 10:00AM so Pam and I could attend the
Memorial / Funeral service for Kelly Anne, Pam's former classmate in
elementary and high school. If you would like to know what happened to
Kelly Anne please refer back to my previous post
.

When Pam and I got back from the church, our guest and biking, cycling
buddies, the Manotick Country Mice, were getting ready to head back
home to Ottawa (Manotick, Ontario).

Uploaded photos to my webshot photoalbum site- check it out.
