Rode our bikes into the sunset

After church T.Nil and I went to her favorite shopping place, the "Dollar Store", looking for hardware she needs for the curtains.

A Pasta dish and meatballs were waiting for us when we got home, T.Nil cooked it earlier. That was lunch for us.

Pam wanted to go to Ikea, but knowing the parking situation at Ikea during weekends we decided not to go with them.

At around 3:00PM I looked out the window and saw this bright bright sunny day, temperature was around 11C, moderate wind, so I decided I'd go for a bike ride along the Lachine Canal bike path. I called up Pilo and we agreed to meet each other along the canal route.

We had some head winds on our way to the Old Port of Montreal, but manageable; I think we're just in a much better conditioning, as we were still cruising at close to 30kph against the wind. We also knew that on the way back it would be a much easier ride.

Had coffee at Beaver Tails downtown, before heading back to Lachine. On the way back we caught the sunset and the opportunity to take pictures of the sunset, so we raced to the Parc Rene Levesque. I have uploaded the pictures to the Webshots Album page. Check it out :)

At 6:30PM, the sun down already, we were still at the Rene Levesque Park. As a matter of fact we decided to go around the island park a few more times, stopping a few times when we spotted some good photo opportunity (photos with the moon in the background, the row of street lamps).
